Cloud Control are excited to announce they will be supporting Weezer on their Australia Tour in January 2013. Weezer will be playing their Greatest Hits set followed by their classic Blue album from start to finish.

Cloud Control will also be playing a sneak preview of what is to come on their second record.

We’re back in the UK and on our feet with a good dose of LAG we’ve returned to the gig arena, giving 110%. First up was the NME show supporting Noah and the Whale at iconic Koko venue.

Very impressive interior design. All red and multi-tiered with gold edging and buffed demi-gods lining the walls. These guys would have caught a lot of shows. Madonna included, apparently.

Ulrich watched the proceedings with all his friends.

Jeremy maximised sleep in the elevator and Random Dude maximised the photo op.

Good times, great bands, and we’re off to Coventry tonight for a greek feast plus gig. Best combo ever, right?

In Busselton, WA, the jellystingers in the ocean all passed a motion to welcome us to Southbound Festival. They also got Sam from The Jezabels but he took it like Bear Grylls.

The 40 degree heat was hot like a hairdryer in our face, hot like a handbag and a can a mace. Jeremy indulged a heat coma on the grass and was prodded by security and there were rumours that Heidi died in a hot car. Nonetheless a great group of people gathered for us under the midday fire-ball sun. Total troopers.

Al tried to reward them with a waterbottle to the head and miraculously they stuck around for our whole set. If you were there that day, melting along with us, maximum respect!

Peaches taught the crowd that it was a good thing to be confused and played a great cover of Tina Turner’s Private Dancer. Paul Kelly demonstrated why he’s a living legend, and Pond demonstrated that Nick from Tame Impala, resplendent in feathered head gear, is well on his way.

Later we privately serenaded some competition winners with a couple of songs. We thought it could be weird, but they were great and we were great and here’s some photos.
